Bea's Sangria and Mole

Mole Party at Beatrice Valenzuela's House

As I mentioned when posting about the polenta cake, my friend Beatrice had some friends over for mole and sangria. It was a warm LA night and we arrived as the sun had just set. Her house was glowing and the beautiful table decked out with flowers and my Pink God's Eye table linens. Bea served her refreshing sangria and rich mole (her family's recipe) with rice, oxtail beans (so good) and salad. For recipes, head over to Bea's blog where she has generously shared instructions for both food and drink. What an inspiring night. Thank you, Bea!

Looks like a beautiful evening!

And I cannot wait to make mole. The recipes (I popped over to Bea's blog) looks just stunning and I love the idea of cooking all day with tiny breaks for tequila and sangria in between.
